Currently, the HK observatory website has a 'thunderstorm' warning up. (You won't see anything there if the weather in HK isn't doing anything interesting!)

I'd kind of noticed, though...the cracking bolts of lightning, loud claps of thunder and torrential rain are a dead giveaway!
