Just read an article about virtual weddings that are happening in Zimbabwe with neither bride nor groom present.
Zimbabweans who meet and marry overseas have arranged for traditional weddings in their homeland that still uphold their culture but don't require them to spend the money to get back there for it. It's a weird and whacky thought that actually makes a bit more sense when you read the article!
Nonetheless...if I get married, I still want to be there for it! :)
